Want to learn more about the new OGC API — Features 1.0 standard (formerly known as WFS3)? Or have you heard people talk about STAC (SpatioTemporal Asset Catalogs) but haven’t been quite sure what it is? If you live in the Washington DC area please join us at Element 84’s office in Alexandria on Tuesday, November 6th at 6:00 for drinks, snacks, lightning talks and friendly conversation.

We’re doing the event in conjunction with the sprint at CosmiQ Works, as we’re going to have so many members of both communities in town. We figured it’d be good to do a little outreach and share what’s going on with these two great specifications. There will be lightning talks from Azavea, Planet, Maxar, USGS, Element 84, Climate Corp and more, talking about their work.

Our generous sponsors

Space is limited, so sign-up as soon as possible at eventbrite.com/e/stac-happy-hour-element-84-registration. Thanks to our sprint sponsors Planet, IQT CosmiQ Works, OGC and Azavea for making this possible, and of course Element 84 for hosting the sprint. Doors will open at 6 and talks start at 7. Hope to see you there!
